In one of the revolutionary initiatives in the information technology industry, the PITB has introduced the new e-Rozgaar 2.0 to encourage employment in Pakistan, which will set an example for other information technology boards throughout the country. Also, it is laudable as PITB has recently signed a strategic partnership arrangement with The Career Institute. As a part of this partnership 11 e-Rozgaar 2.0 centers will be initiated in Punjab. In this concern, these five centers will be developed in Faisalabad, Lahore, Sargodha, Okara Sahiwal. Besides, they will also look at offering more training to the youths in freelancing as well as computers. In the long run, this effort clearly aims for the promotion of individual rights and foster the transformative effect throughout the area.
The e-Rozgaar 2.0 program seeks to solve the unemployment problem in the country through enhancing a market appropriate digital competency. As a result of this collaboration, PITB will afford The Career Institute the ability to open up education to thousands of qualified and passionate new professionals who can gain the necessary training to obtain freelance jobs and financial stability.
Establishment of 11 Centers: These centers will act as learning centers for the particular skill in major cities of Punjab.
Comprehensive Training: It will center on self-employed workers, online businesses, writers, and other popular virtual positions.
Accessibility: Purposefully constructed such that they afford a high level of participation particularly from the less fortunate.
Sustainability: The centres have the vision of continuing to mentor the trainees for an extended period after the training period Is over.
This partnership is a major step in our journey at PITB to promote technology for a better economy.
The e-Rozgaar 2.0 agreement signing ceremony will always be remembered as a turning point in PITBUn-Pakistan’s fight against unemployment through IT enablement. Recently an event was held at PITB Headquarters where major stakeholders including PITB management and The Career Institute management were present.
The most important moment of the event was the official signing of the memorandum on the establishment of 11 centers in Punjab Thus, communities in Faisalabad, Lahore, Sargodha, Okara, and Sahiwal will have an affordable training service.
The event was a great success ending with powerful speeches and followed by a networking to foster partner’s cooperation for development of substantial initiatives for the youths to become financially independent.
